2021年コスデストゥルネル　ブラン
ソーヴィニヨンブラン、セミヨンのブレンドでした。

この時期にぴったりな白ワインで、飲んでいただきたくお出ししました。

コスデストゥルネルが手がける白ワイン。
年間生産本数は、750ケースという希少さ。
ボルドーで作られる白ワインを飲む機会はさほど多くはないのではないでしょうか？？

レストランでは、この季節にマリアージュなどで使用することが多いと思います。

ソーヴィニヨンブラン主体で作られるボルドーブランは、フレッシュな桃やグレープフルーツなどの爽やかな香りをまとい、この季節ぴったりなワインだと思います。
ハーブを使ったお料理や、メインにも負けない力強さも持っています。

冷やして飲んでも美味しいですし、温度を上げて大ぶりなグラスで楽しんでも美味しいです。

メイン品種の正解者はおらず、優勝のみっつさんはセミヨンとブレンド品種を当てておりました。

やはり、グランヴァンというとフランスの印象なのか皆さんフランスと書かれていました。

その他の解答はほとんどがシャルドネで、その他シュナンブラン、リースリングでした。

参考価格は、¥10,000〜¥95,000と幅広かったです。

Our latest blind tasting featured the 2021 Château Cos d’Estournel Blanc, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.

We chose this wine because it’s perfect for the season.

Produced by Château Cos d’Estournel in limited quantities (around 750 cases per year), this rare white Bordeaux offers fresh aromas of peach, grapefruit, and herbs. Refreshing yet structured, it pairs beautifully with everything from herb-forward dishes to hearty main courses.

It’s delicious served well chilled, or slightly warmer in a large wine glass to bring out even more complexity.

No one guessed the main grape variety correctly!

Our winner, Mitssu, correctly identified Sémillon and that the wine was a blend, earning the highest score. 👏

Most guests guessed Chardonnay, while others suggested Chenin Blanc or Riesling. Many also correctly identified the wine as being from France.

Price estimates ranged from ¥10,000 to ¥95,000—a wide range of interesting guesses!
